1. Who we are and what these terms cover

In short: these terms are for the website. Your product contract is separate.

MassvHalo Pvt. Ltd. is a company incorporated in India, CIN U61900KA2024PTC196331, with its registered office at 126, RNS Plaza, Electronic City Phase II, Bangalore, Karnataka 560100, India. We trade as HaloWiFi.

These terms govern your use of halowifi.com and its subdomains (the “website”). By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

If you buy HaloWiFi hardware or subscribe to the Halo Cloud platform, that relationship is governed by the order form and service agreement you sign (together, the “Service Agreement”). Where the Service Agreement and these terms say different things about the service, the Service Agreement applies. Where they say different things about the website, these terms apply.

2. The website

In short: the site is for information. Numbers on it are illustrations, not quotes.

The website describes our products and services and lets you contact us. Its content is provided for general information and may change without notice.

Figures shown on the website, including the WiFi revenue calculator, the pricing page, the comparison pages and any statistics about deployments, are illustrations or summaries based on information available to us at the time of publication. They are not an offer, a quotation, a guarantee of results, or financial or professional advice. Pricing for your venue is set out in your order form.

Comparison pages describe other vendors’ products based on their public documentation as at the date shown on the page. Product names and marks of other companies belong to their owners, and no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

3. The HaloWiFi service

In short: hardware and Halo Cloud run under your service agreement, not this page.

Access to the Halo Cloud platform, HaloWiFi hardware, the captive portal, analytics, marketing tools and the API is provided under the Service Agreement. Nothing on the website creates a contract for the service on its own.

If you have a Halo Cloud account, the Service Agreement also governs how you and your staff use it, what you may do with data collected from guests at your venues, and what happens if a subscription lapses. Venue operators are responsible for using guest data in line with applicable law and their own privacy commitments to their guests; see the Guest WiFi Terms and the Privacy Policy for how that responsibility is shared.

4. Payments and refunds

In short: payments are non-refundable unless your Service Agreement says otherwise.

Payments for HaloWiFi hardware and Halo Cloud subscriptions are non-refundable. We do not operate a general refund or return window, and this page does not create one.

Where a Service Agreement, order form or written quotation sets out different terms — a trial period, a pilot, a cancellation right, or a specific refund or return condition — those terms apply to that purchase, and they override this section. Anything of that kind has to be agreed in writing before or at the time of purchase.

Faulty hardware is handled under the warranty terms communicated with your order, not as a refund. Those terms set out what is covered, for how long, and whether the remedy is repair or replacement.

Nothing here removes a right you have under law that cannot be excluded by agreement, including any statutory right in your jurisdiction to a remedy for goods or services that are faulty or not as described.

Questions about a payment: [email protected].

5. Demo bookings and enquiries

In short: booking a demo is not a purchase, and we use what you tell us to run the demo.

When you book a demo, ask a question, or use the calculator, we collect the details you provide so we can respond. How we use and keep that information is described in the Privacy Policy. Booking a demo does not create a purchase obligation for either of us.

6. Acceptable use of the website

In short: use the site normally; do not attack it, scrape it at scale, or use it to spam.

You agree not to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers, or any connected system;
  • probe, scan or test the website for vulnerabilities without our written permission (if you find a security issue, please tell us at [email protected] and we will respond);
  • copy or scrape the website at scale, or use automated tools in a way that degrades it for others;
  • use the website, the contact form, or the demo booking to send unsolicited messages or misleading information;
  • remove or obscure any notice of ownership on the website’s content.

We may block access to the website for anyone who breaches this section.

7. Intellectual property and feedback

In short: the site and marks are ours; feedback you give us we may use.

The website, its design, text, images, recordings, illustrations and code, and the names HaloWiFi, Halo Cloud, HaloPass, HaloChilli and associated marks and product designs, are owned by MassvHalo Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own reference. Any other use, including reproducing content or marks in a way that suggests affiliation, needs our written permission.

If you send us feedback or suggestions about the website or the service, you agree we may use them without obligation to you, and without identifying you unless you ask us to.

8. Third-party links and tools

In short: other sites have their own terms.

The website may link to third-party sites or use third-party tools (for example, the demo booking calendar). We do not control those sites or tools and are not responsible for their content or practices. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

9. Disclaimers

In short: the site is provided as is.

The website is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that its content is complete or current. Nothing on the website is professional, legal, financial or technical advice for your specific situation.

10. Limitation of liability

In short: we are not liable for indirect loss from using the site; some liability cannot be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MassvHalo Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its content.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Liability relating to the service is governed by the Service Agreement.

11. Governing law and disputes

In short: Indian law, Bengaluru courts, and we talk first.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, subject to the following: before starting proceedings, each of us agrees to write to the other describing the dispute and to make a good-faith attempt to resolve it within thirty days.

If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you mandatory protections or a right to bring proceedings in your local courts, nothing in this section takes those away.

12. Changes to these terms

In short: we version and date changes; material changes are announced.

We may update these terms. The version number and dates at the top show the current version, and the history at the bottom lists what changed. Material changes are noted on the website for at least thirty days after they take effect. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
